We have taken note with great appreciation of your decision to cancel the event with Mr. Trita Parsi, one of the most prominent lobbyists for the Islamic Republic, originally planned for February 17, 2025, in Berlin. We greatly welcome this decision, as it not only sends a strong signal against the regime’s influence, but also underscores the independence and integrity of your institution.

By canceling this event, you have opened up new perspectives and possibilities for dialogue, and we regard this as a significant step toward a more responsible and objective engagement with the geopolitical challenges of our time.

In this context, we look forward to welcoming Prof. Dr. Wörtz to our panel discussion in Hamburg on February 21. His contribution will enrich the conversation on current developments in Iran and their global repercussions, helping to generate new insights and potential solutions.
